Retinal Degnerative Disease R&D Explained in Irv Aron's Article

Irv Arons contributed an article to The Ophthalmologist entitled "The Optogenetic Option: Another Approach to Reversing Blindness", which describes the current state of research and development for a number of technologies that will treat patients blinded by retinal degenerative diseases. This was recorded at BIO and was produced by the NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.

LambdaVision Highlighted in NSF Innovation Zone Video

In June of 2015, LambdaVision was selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to be highlighted in the Innovation Zone at the BIO International Conference in Philadelphia. LambdaVision CEO, Dr. Nicole Wagner, discusses our protein-based retinal implant technology in this video which was recorded at BIO and was produced by the NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.

LambdaVision Selected as a 2015 Tech Company to Watch

LambdaVision has been named a 2015 Tech Company to Watch at the Connecticut Innovation Summit, an event that is presented by the Connecticut Technology Council. The Summit will be held on November 10th, in Hartford, CT from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Dr. Nicole Wagner will Speak at an Upcoming Bioscience Clubhouse CT Event

Dr. Nicole Wagner will be speaking at an upcoming Bioscience Clubhouse CT event hosted by CURE, which will be held on Monday, October 5th from 4:30pm to 6:00pm in Farmington, CT. At this event, Dr. Wagner will discuss some of the recent research and development and commercialization efforts at LambdaVision and share some of her experiences and challenges with starting and leading a company. NSF Selects LambdaVision for BIO International Conference

LambdaVision was selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) as one of 35 companies to have a kiosk at the 2015 BIO International Conference in Philadelphia this week. Check out LambdaVision's exhibition at the BIO Innovation Zone from June 15th to 18th. A press release from the Connecticut Technology Council can be found here.

Among other Connecticut and UConn based companies, LambdaVision will also present at the State of Connecticut’s booth in The Discovery Zone on Tuesday, June 16th. This booth is coordinated by CURE, Connecticut’s bioscience network, and more information about the participating companies can be found here.

Dr. Nicole Wagner is Selected for Connecticut Magazine's 40 Under 40

LambdaVision President and CEO Dr. Nicole Wagner has been selected as one of Connecticut Magazine's 40 Under 40. The full list can be found here or in the February issue of the magazine. The University of Connecticut has also highlighted several alumni who have made the list in a recent UConn Today article.

LambdaVision is Awarded $150K Phase I SBIR Grant from the NSF

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded LambdaVision a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant. The $150K grant will be used to further quantify the spatial resolution of the implant and to demonstrate the feasibility of the surgical procedures necessary to insert the retinal implant into the subretinal space..
